Edit, duplicate, and reorder

Summary

Once a design is in your Cart, each line item has Quantity controls, an Edit design button, and a ⋯ menu with Duplicate and Remove. Quantity and pricing update live and correctly. Duplicate and Remove work correctly. Edit design does not — see Warnings and limits.

Use it when

• Use Duplicate to add a second copy of a cart line item as its own separate entry (for example, to set a different quantity or edit it independently later).
• Use Quantity to change how many copies of a line item you're ordering.
• Use Remove to take a line item out of the cart entirely.

Before you begin

Have at least one design added to your cart — see Proof links, cart, and checkout for how to get there.

Steps

1. Go to Cart.
2. Select + or − next to a line item's Quantity to change how many copies you're ordering.
3. Open the ⋯ menu on a line item and select Duplicate to add a copy of it as a new, separate line item.
4. Open the ⋯ menu and select Remove to delete that line item from the cart.

What changes

• Quantity changes the line item's total using the stated per-item pricing ($50.00 first copy · $25.00 each additional) — confirmed directly: increasing quantity from 1 to 2 changed a line total from $50.00 to $75.00 exactly, and the cart's Merchandise and Order total updated to match.
• Duplicate adds a new line item named after the original with a — copy suffix (e.g. Classic square #1 — copy), at the same price, confirmed to correctly increase Merchandise by the duplicated item's price.
• Remove deletes the line item and the cart briefly shows a Verifying cart items and current prices… state before settling on updated, correct totals.

Print note

Not applicable — cart quantity, duplication, and removal only affect what you're ordering, not any exported file.

Warnings and limits

• "Edit design" does not work. Selecting it navigates to /editor, a route that doesn't exist (the page title reads Page not found), and it does not load the cart item's design back into the editor — the artboard comes up completely empty (No layers yet). Reproduced twice, independently. Filed as issue #51. Until this is fixed, if you need to adjust a design that's already in your cart, rebuild it from your original file, a proof link, or an exported copy — don't rely on Edit design to bring it back.
• "Reorder past creations", described in the app's own marketing copy, requires order history from a completed order. This was not tested — completing an actual purchase is outside the scope of this research. Treat reordering past orders as Needs product confirmation.
• Cart contents in this article were tested as a guest, without signing in — see Cloud drafts and accounts for what's unverified about signed-in behavior.

Desktop and mobile

Quantity, the ⋯ menu (Duplicate/Remove), and Edit design were all confirmed present and reachable on both desktop and mobile — the Edit design issue was found on desktop; it was not independently re-tested on mobile, but there is no reason to expect the underlying routing bug to differ by viewport.

• Observed — at 390 × 844, Quantity, the ⋯ menu, and Edit design were all present on the cart line item.
